General overview and inaugural motorized crush. I wanted to have a portable, motorized milling system. I wanted it to use a standard computer-style cord in case I misplace it, and I wanted it to have forward and reverse in case something got stuck in the mill. The mill attaches to the angle braces using wingnuts for ease of putting them on/taking them off. Direct coupling was needed for not only portability, but safety as well.
The grain being crushed was a batch of American Bock from Austin Homebrew supply, my preferred HBS.
